Hanka Kupfernagel (GER) is not to slow down
Monday, 12 December 2011 09:28
It seems as if she is indestructible. Since November Hanka Kupfernagel startet at three international renowned events and landed on the podium each time. Despite weary legs from training Hanka managed to finish second place at the cyclocross race in French Nommay.
At the 33rd International cyclocross in Frenkendorf, Switzerland the CASCO rider even managed a victory. With only two seconds advantage in 41: 08 minutes time she expelled Sabrina Schweizer from Germany to second place. In such tight decisions everything has to simply fit: the will to win, a very good race preparation and optimum equipment.
Her third place at the traditional Frankfurter Bikecross (GER) is "very satisfying" for Hanka Kupfernagel. " After a forced pause due to a lengthy virus infection this was a very good race for me again which I can build on.”
The CASCO team is excited and keeps their fingers crossed.

Friday, 09 December 2011 08:01
The traditional Zurich Six Days is a four days competition since this year, the tension-filled race and the sporting performances have however not lost any of their attraction. Around 18,000 spectators were responsible for the atmosphere the amateur rider Stefan Küng needed "to simply bring more performance” and transcend his own limits. Together with his partner Jan Keller, the CASCO rider could leave the competitors behind in an extremely exciting race. In the pros competition David Jansen clearly decided the sprint final by tactics and power for himself.
